In Defense of BDTSP and the Mindsay Community Reaction to Her Critical Observations

Perfect... bdtsp posts one entry making observations about Mindsay and probably gets more response than anything she has ever written.

This is not an arena where the Pulitzer prize will ever be awarded folks. bdtsp was merely expressing an opinion about what she sees as a slide down in the general complexion of things here. She didn't point a finger at anyone in particular, but nevertheless the thin-skinned come crawling out of the woodwork with defensive words as though they were attacked personally.

Calm the f#### down. The fabric of this place is mostly hyperbole and rhetoric. And I see the two month old entry from a "Community" member dying of cancer gets no responses... but make a critical observation and watch out.

Gimme a f###ing break already. Don't you think the blogosphere and it's content and activities are just another symptom of the general social consciousness? bdtsp said "- Nobody uses the voting system. They didn't before, yet cried foul. Now that it's transparent and open, it's obvious that nobody ever used it in the first place." And she's correct. Truly, all the thanks and kudos surrounding its results are ridiculous. She suggests interaction and discovers with her post that the most interaction occurs when you make a critical observation. Why? It's called "the middle of the road", and it is the prevalent comfort zone which dominates and informs here.

bstsp has 100% of my support and respect. And I know she's never going to blather on about personal malaise, cats or rainbows. God bless her!
